This project was an on-going project at a chapel conversion. We did some panelling in the cinema room and we machined all the timber out of old beams that had been taken out the building previously. We laid Douglas Fir flooring and pitch pine skirting. We machined all the skirting giving it plenty of detail to finish the room! This is a lovely mezzanine we have created using reclaimed church pews from the early 1900s from the original chapel. The customer made the decision to use these to keep the original character of the building and we couldn’t agree with them more. A lovely contrast of new and old in this build.
